Are you finding yourself in a little bit of a rut?
Maybe feeling just a little bit behind in your goal? And you really want to put the petal to the metal and ramp up your business quickly?
Many of my clients come to me and say “I’m not where I want to be. I don’t have time to do this slow. I want to hit it and I want to hit it hard.”
That’s when I recommend a 90-day ramp up. I coach the sales people of a battery company and I always think about jump starting a battery. So I sometimes refer to this as a 90-day jump start. In a way, the 90-day ramp up is a little bit like jump starting a dead battery.
What we want to think about is, “Am I truly willing to be all in?” It’s only 90 days. We can survive anything for 90 days. If I only needed to focus for 90 days, how much additional prospecting would I be willing to do? What are the things that are a little bit outside of my comfort zone that I should tackle because I know if I tackle them I can capture immediate business?
When we work with you on this, the first step is to determine where you’re at today. Step two is to identify where you want to do be at the end of this 90-day cycle. Then we’re going to have a very strategic plan to get you there.
Where are we going to get those different deals from? What sources? What actions? What schedule?
How much prospecting you’re going to need to do? And what skills do we need to quickly help you ramp up so that you can maximize those great appointments that you’re setting?
Let’s be frank about it, if you want to truly do a 90-day ramp up, it is not going to be easy. You’re going to have to be all in. Warn your friends. Warn your family. Tell them, “You’re going to see just a little bit less of me over the next 90 days.”
You’re going to have to prospect more than you ever have before, but at the end of the 90 days, look at what you will have accomplished… At that point, when you’ve got that jump start, when you’re just a little bit ahead, got those deals in the pipeline, now we can go back to a reasonable and realistic long term schedule.
I have seen agents do some amazing things in a 90-day period. I know you can too. If you’re up for it, we’ll help you. We start with defining where it is you want to be at the end of the next 90 days.
