How Do I Follow Up On A Lead Like This One…

“My mom was talking with a neighbor who mentioned a friend of hers that may be thinking of selling. The potential seller’s husband passed away six months ago and it sounded like the home was too much to keep up on her own. Just curious how you think I should approach my mom’s neighbor in getting an appointment with her friend.”

Debbie Responds:

Just be very low key. Approach her by saying that your mom mentioned it and you would be happy to help in anyway possible- even if they just need some updated information on property values.

Ask if she would be willing to pass your information on to them. You may want to take her a packet to give them.

Also, ask her if she would feel comfortable sharing the phone number with you, tell her you will handle them gently and respectfully.
